Matched with the sweetest girl I’ve ever met in march. We met after a few days of talking for the first time and we’ve seen each other again a week later. Since then we have not met again and I’ve actually asked her to meet twice- both times she was busy but told me she felt really bad because she wanted to see me too but now I’m not sure if she actually meant it or if I’m being kept as an option. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen her but I was so busy with school that I didn’t really have time for dating so I didn’t mind but now idk if I should move on and date other people like i normally would do or wait for her because she’s a wonderful person (she told me she was on a trip for the next 2 weeks) but then again maybe she’s just leading me on so what should I do?
Jumping into the dating world for the first time post Covid! Hopefully I have some fun stories to share soon enough; I’ve really appreciated reading all of yours!

I matched with a cute girl on Sunday who immediately messaged me that she thinks I have amazing taste in music. I’m kind of a music nerd and love concerts/festivals, so this made me really excited to meet someone with similar interests. We’ve traded maybe 5-6 messages each and have both been a little slow to respond at times. Our last exchange was sharing our concert plans for this year, but it’s been about 24 hours with no response to my last message. I was planning to ask her out in the next message or two anyway, but don’t wanna look desperate going back-to-back.
Should I just go for it, or do I assume she’s lost interest unless proven otherwise?
Was seeing this girl. She told me after a few dates that she wasnt looking for anything serious. I wasn’t either per se. Got too attached, because my social circle is pretty small at the moment. Yesterday she told me we should stop seeing each other, since she’s going home for the summer. Not really in a good place right now, but I knew what I signed up for. Maybe casual isnt for me. Also, I need to make some friends.
