Why are people so weird about sharing measurements? Cup size, height, weight, could give zero fucks.

I doubt this was the first time you’ve been asked. The fact that you are 5’8 and had a clever comeback, tells me you deal with this question a lot.
Crazy that she might have a preference. Best case scenario she’s warning you that she’s tall as some men would instantly be uninterested, saving you both time. Worst case scenario she isn’t interested and saves you both time. More likely, she has a preference that even if you don’t naturally fulfill, you could have worked past with your personality. That is, if your go-to response wasn’t to lash back and show your insecurities like a lighthouse.
