POF : How do you spot catfishes? Update

Just a quick update, cos a few people had asked me what happened.
I’ve meet up with her a few times and, very surprisingly, it was all legit. She was just as good-looking as her pics (maybe nicer, she’s got really good eyes) and isn’t 6 stones heavier or anything like that. And she’s nice and funny and quirky and all of that nice stuff too! ( definitely no cock either 😀 )
The gutting thing about all this is that I’m only in the town where I currently live for work. I’d expected to be here until late Summer, but it’s looking like my contract is ending as early as next week. I do like her, but my last relationship was long distance and I don’t want that again.
But yeah, apart from that bit I’m glad that I just went along with it and stoped fretting about whether she was real!

That’s good! There’s really no harm in meeting someone at a cafe or something. Really nasty catfishes would make you go to other countries or whatever. Catfish really just want you to put in more effort to troll you.
Generic sounding and/or short profile usually = catfish/bot
