POF : What is Kik?
So many profiles say « I prefer to talk on Kik ». With how widespread it is, I’m guessing it’s either a scam or solicitation. Am I correct in this theory?

If they already have their kik user name displayed in their profile that’s a huge red flag. Like with instagram people, just looking to add followers, they’ll never talk to you.
You have to be careful with kik, married people like using it because you can silence the IM and nobody can call them out of the blue. If all they do is message you that’s another red flag.

Kik is basically what people use if they want to chat with you outside of POF but are not comfortable giving out their number. I sometimes use snap chat for messaging only, not sending photos when I don’t feel comfortable giving out my number

I have a question about this myself and do most bots ask you for KIK. I just had a guy message me telling me he was new to this site and he asked what I was looking for. I checked out his profile and we are on the same page but something doesn’t seem right. They insist I download KIK too but I don’t want to
