They seem to show up as i spend more time on the app.

It’s getting to the stage where I’m not sure who is real or not
Would it help to write on your profile something that says you will report fake profiles, or is that just too much of an online dating suicide move?
I’m getting fed up with them too. Now they are getting crafty, and sending a message first like “hey there :)” and then sending you that click bait in the message.
Also, is anyone knows how to remove the “wants to me you” notifications on my phone, please send me a message. I can’t figure this shit out.
There’s these, where the website is in the picture, and there’s the ones with conjoined names that view your profile then disappear ten mins later.
What can be done?
I quit when I got 16 views on my profile this morning and they were all these bots. The past few days I saw cute girls with nothing on their profiles, (obviously those were spam since the site says you need like 15 words on your profile or something like that) and I’ve gotten two hey there’s which eventually turned into a click bait link. It’s really a shame since I’ve gone on a few dates from POF and got one relationship from the site too. Now it’s not worth the effort to weed through all this porn.
Also I can’t count the number of times, I’ve run into. I’m terrible at describing myself. Just ask me. Obviously fake. How the hell can you message someone with that as the only thing on their profile?
