POF : Profile gets deleted in less than half a day.
I am so mad. I took a long time to make my profile, and it disappeared! I made it, saw some messages, didn’t want to reply just yet, so I slept. I woke up and couldn’t log in. I had a friend that kept an eye on my profile, and he said it was gone.
I messaged customer service, and they said it got accidentally deleted. Like, how? How does the automated system ban my profile when I didn’t do anything? I looked at the zero-tolerance policy, and I wonder if it’s possible to exploit it. It sounds like you get deleted if enough people block you, so someone could just make a bunch of profiles and get you banned. That’s so stupid.
Ugh! They told me they can’t restore the profile, but I can wait 2-3 HOURS! before making a new one, and they « hope I will make a new profile ». Why would I with such terrible service! How can they guarantee that I won’t get deleted again?

You need a fresh email account, a new I.p address, an unrelated name and password, and use new pictures, its possible the site checks picture files, it definitely flags email addresses and I.p addresses and blacklists them for an autoban if used again.
Avoid contacting anyone you did before, will reduce your blocks and make it unlikely they will report you.
Who did you contact at customer service? Mine just got pooched too and I’ve been on the site for almost a year! I had some good conversations going – I know I won’t get it back but at least I can make a new one. Right now they delete me in less than an hour.
