POF : The use of filters in pics is insane ladies
Guys don’t do this. When we post pics, it is unedited, unfiltered. You may not like it, but it’s a real, legit, fairly recent pic.

Ladies – the pics you’re posting are so filtered they barely qualify as photographs and are more like digital art at this point. You are not fooling anybody, it only takes a little digging and some common senses to discover that pic is filtered to all hell to cover up your wrinkles or some other feature you are not proud of. Likewise the flattering angles.

Just take it easy on the filters, I know they are on your photo app but you don’t need to use them all at once.

**Men / Ladies** – When someone does something you do not like, take that as a sign they are not right for you and move on. Otherwise you are destine for a lot of disappointment in your dating life.
Whether man or woman I hate the ones taken from above with a pout face so you can barely work out how they look normally.
>Guys don’t do this.
Yes they do. I have seen guys use filters. Not as much as women do but I have seen it. Guys are not entirely above filters FYI.

The only filters I use are the one’s that change the color of the photo. I have some black and white one’s and some that look like an old fashioned photo that I thought were cool
Ok my beef with guys is that they take pics from the bottom angle and look awful. I see filters on men and women which are misleading but that’s what’s swipe left is for.
Guys DO do this!!!!!! I have seen loads, all over POF and tinder.
A girl messaged ME one time, which is really wild. Main picture looked good, unfiltered picture? Nah bruh.
Funny you mention this. Just before on Facebook there was an advertisement for an app called Manly were it does digital facial manipulation and toned abs or six pack. I was reading the comments mostly from a number women expressing the absurdity of such an idea and would instantly reject a man who uses any type of filter as they would not be honest or up front. Reminds me of another double standard when it comes to height requirements usually outlined in their eligibility criteria. How can you change your height? You would not dare mention weight restrictions to a woman but might as well..
My anger comes from Instagram and Snapchat creating filters that aren’t goofy but legitimately created with the purpose of subtly covering up flaws and enhancing features. It’s deceptive and somehow now it’s socially acceptable.
FAKE NEWS….guys post pics with the puppy filter all the time!!! Make an account as a female and see what we see. Also weird « happy trail » low angle pics. Have fun!
