POF : Has « Hey there 🙂 » flirt messages been replaced with « Hi »?
I just received my second « Hi » message in 24 hours. I didn’t reply to the first one because she was obviously fake, and sure enough her profile got deleted later so I don’t see her in Contact History anymore. This second one looks real. They took so much time filling out their profile. They have dozens of interests, a few pictures, a filled our About Me, and they even have a bunch of Mail Setting requirements. But one thing is off. Their POF user name is ashleyryan, but their first name is Mary. Usually people with conflicting names like that can’t be trusted. Should I wait a few days to see if her profile gets deleted, or should I play « sucker » and write back? I’m not impressed with one word « Hi » initial messages, so I think I won’t bother to reply.

UPDATE: I think that it is an extremely convincing bot or scammer. I peeped their profile one more time and they describe themselves as a blonde with blue eyes. But clearly in the pictures, their eyes are green or hazel. So yeah, not going to bother wasting my time. It’s terrifying though how much the bots and scammers upped their game. PoF is just loaded with bots, fake profiles and spammers. It’s not worth the headache
