POF : New at dating. Need advice
So I’m 25 and I’ve never dated before. Mostly due to me being a extremely shy introvert who doesn’t know how to hold a conversation. I have a few friends who have successfully found relationships on POF and my best friend has convinced me to join. I’ve talked to a few guys but the convos never last very long and fizzles out. A guy messaged me this morning and asked me what I was looking for. I was honest and told him about my friends finding relationships on there and I decided to give it a try. He immediately asked me if I wanted to go on a date with him. We haven’t even really talked to each other yet. I’m not comfortable with meeting someone I’ve exchanged three sentences with. I am open to going on a date but maybe after we’ve talked s bit more. How should respond to him with out him thinking I’m not interested. I’d liked to give him a chance on the app before I meet anyone in person.

For me, that’s a very straight forward response, if the person really is interested in getting to know you better and are REALLY looking for a relationship rather than a one night stand, then you will see a reaction almost immediately.
I like to meet as soon a possible to see if there’s going to be any chemistry or not. But only a few messages that have been exchanged back and forth wouldn’t be enough for me. You could always try honesty. If he doesn’t like it, then you may have dodged a bullet
Yes, be honest, but I’m sure your friends have told you about the not so great people on it right? If not, ask them, I’m sure they needed to go through anchovies before greeting a great catch.
