The penchant for faux-reality, or hyper-edited realism will wane eventually leaving everyone wondering why the hell they squandered those hours listening to mindless banality. We still have books and excellent writers creating content, we don’t need the foibles of society reflected back at us by a mirror of vapid idiots. Or maybe we do.

On the subject of good writing, this is a very well written article and worth far more in intellectual rigour and insight than all the series of Love Island combined. Keep writing :o)
