  1. Look we are doing our best to get a conversation going. I mainly ask how your day is, plans for the weekend, what you are studying in grad school, stuff like that. But I can also relate because I don’t do much for fun besides Netflix and alcohol too, and I would never want to tell someone that. So I answer with what I *like* to do, and parlay that into some kind of conversation at least.

    TL;DR – answer the question you want to get asked

  2. This is a good question imo. No matter how much I worked, I’d always have an answer. I’d kind of broad too so you can answer it however you’d like, really. Just any interests you have. 🙂

  3. I feel like this question can lead to more conversation than most though. I ask this to get her to talk about herself otherwise the conversation can get one-sided.

  4. Honestly at this point I’ve just decided to lie about that question. I seem interesting and it keeps the conversation going. Saying you’re really into cooking usually leads to a good conversation about food and if a guy eventually wants me to make him dinner or something it’s an opportunity for wacky sitcom-style hijinks
