POF : Question! I received a message from a female today, and I am seeking males on POF. How is this possible? Fake account?

1. Probably. Or they accidentally put themselves down as male in their profile.

   Does it really matter though? I wouldn’t worry about it unless it becomes a pattern. Just delete.

2. I see some men and I’m looking for females. Just block.

3. It could be a few things. There are people in the LGBTQ community that see themselves as a Male, or is just a person that sees themselves as a Male regardless of how they look, they could be seeing if you are bi, sometimes couples or polys like to post pics of their women in profiles while seeking partners. It could also be a bot or scam. For me it was couples. Only way to find out is to talk to then. Ymmv.
