Dating : Connecting

They held up pieces of themselves, pressing them together. Sometimes those pieces fit seamlessly; others would need to be pushed, bent, and cut, until borders fit together. It was only until the entire picture was completed that they realised they did not like what it showed.

But there were no pieces left to change it.
