Dating : If Ants Can Do It Together, There is No Way You Can’t

I have got an inspirational story for you brought to you from my irrigated garden one sunny morning. As I stood there with the water hose, filling the soil. The critters were dispersing in a panic holding on to dear old life.

I did feel like the ant bully. But I only realized when I sat beside the small valley, which only felt like a small irrigated patch from above.

Two ants were holding onto one another what seemed like a leaf. As the water rapids rushed frantically beneath them and all the other little insects, running to safety.

These two ants were faring their struggle for a lifetime. I watched what would happen next. Would the ant let go? Would the leaf break apart?

The suspense might have been the death of them. Instead, I chose to intervene and picked them, putting them towards the side away from the mayhem.

Each one of them followed one another to their anthill. I learned a good lesson that day. If those two ants could hold onto one another for life, then why can’t people?

Why can’t we work together in times of strife?

When we are facing insurmountable odds. Why can’t we do teamwork and fare the tides of our odds with gusto?

Why don’t we put our trust in one another? We know that we are strong deep down. And we can amplify that strength together.

Then why don’t we put more trust in each other?

Perhaps we are afraid, you and I.

Maybe you are afraid of being left behind when you need someone. I am here to tell you, do not think that. Instead of worrying whether someone would leave.

Start accepting what it means and learn to keep moving forward. I know it is hard to see things in a newer light. When someone you trust does not fulfill the promises made.

I know the heart-wrenching feeling of knowing that they tore through your hopes and dreams. When all you wanted was them to bask in your zest.

You wanted them to have your best. You gave it your all, but perhaps you were left for dead.

But see, you have to accept that they are gone. And realize that there is more to you than your past. You should not give your happiness in the present for something that happened in your past.

Let it go.

Just let it go.

Let go of those who do not want to try to hold onto you.

Like the ants who wanted each other to live together. Those were mates who never wanted to give up on each other.

There is a difference between them and those who abandoned you in your time of need. Do not mistake the notion of those who do not care to be by your side.

Instead, look towards the future possibilities. Reach out and grab them. I know visualizing happiness is hard when everyone around is just amongst the crowd.

They were aimlessly treading until they tripped and looked around to find themselves that they were never alone.

But I am here to assure you, between that fuss. You will find someone like that. Someone like you, yes, there is hope for you.

For all of us, it is in the palm of our hands.

It always has been only a smile away.

You need to believe in that. Because it will happen so as long as you try to find people like you. People who strive for hope, people who want to be there with them.

Keep searching for them. They are searching for you, knowing that one day they might unite with their tribe. Their friends, comrades, and companions will change their lives.

I found some, but the search still goes on. As I walk this adventurous place weaving back my broken heart. I learned to pick the pieces up and offered them to someone who also dreamt of freedom.

Those who needed it from time to time, and thus it gave me a purpose to make it to the finish line.

You can do it too.

I believe in you. There are many people like us.

The world is a fantastic place, filled with magic and mystery.

If you believe and keep on trying regardless of setbacks.

You will find people who will hold onto you for dear life.

Because they would share the same zest for life as you. And thus, in time, one day, someday, you will reunite with the ones who will always you.

Your struggles are worth it all in the end. Don’t quit.

Never give up.

And if you do feel like taking a break, know that you can get right back as fast as you choose to separate yourself from those that do not share the same courtesy as yourself.

Life is much like a gamble. We have our odds stacked against us with only a few evens to spare. But the more you strive for experiences like these, no matter the defeats or losses that line up.

Remember that all these lessons will add value to your life. Accept them and let it take you places.

Keep putting trust in people, and they will become your friends.

If you show them, love, they will become your companions.

And in time, they will become your best friends who will never abandon you.
