I close my eyes and I’m drawn in. Lustrous, glimmery, radiant. You held my hand and led me through the land of wonder. We ascend upward, traverse soft billowing clouds, move through a landscape of enchantment in the sky.

We fly higher and further leaving the world behind till everything beneath appears as tiny specks of light.

Such a dazzling sight, joyously unrestrained, inexhaustible, joie-de-vivre. I take in every moment of this expanding horizon in this parallel universe that exists for only you and me.

Here I don’t have to pretend. Here I’m free, liberated, unencumbered. I let go of myself, of my heart. To gain freedom, to venture unfamiliar grounds.

I take it all in. To be at one with this moment, just breathing, just savouring. Crafting memories together, longer than the outstretched path ahead. We’re in no hurry to make our way home.

I’m losing grip, bit by bit as our worlds collide in mad passionate intensity. I’ll never let go. Our bodies entwined like branches, breath flow as one, hearts beating in rhythm.
