What makes us good neighbors is the amount of our concern and care we give to our neighbor.
What makes us good neighbor is the level of smile, prayer we give to our neighbor.
It is the way and manner we care for our neighbors that attract God’s blessing and attention. And by that way we make our selves one of God’s family.
We need to know that it is our responsibility, to love, care for one another. Because if we know, we will live as one family God has created.
What does neighbor means?
The way we define a neighbor is a person who lives at a stone throw to your home.
When we beleive that a neighbor just means, a person who lives at a stone throw to your home, who are we pushing the responsibility of helping our neighbor who is in need of what we have, when most of us claim to be a neighbor, but not a good neighbor.
Note: It is our responsibility as a neighbor to see how we can help our neighbor and seek to their needs.
Sometimes we don’t want our neighbor to grow financially, we will find every possible ways to stop our neighbor who is trying to help themselves. This was the case of two women who sells provisions stuffs at the same street. One was wealthy and the other wasn’t these two were neighbors. The wealthy woman has so many goods in her store and the other woman which was her neighbor didn’t has much on her store . This make people cross the wealthy woman poor neighbor shop to the wealthy woman shop.
So this was what happened the wealthy woman was always watching each of her customers who went to her neighbors shop to buy few things. And many other neighbors crossed the poor neighbors shop to the wealthy woman’s shop. And left only few customers to come to the poor womans shop.
In this case nobody choosed to be a good neighbor. And the wealthy woman always smile to her poor neighbor just for fun. And the poor neighbor buys something’s from her neighbor which was the wealthy woman.
So the poor woman was not able to cope in the community because she had less customer and was not able to pay in time her children school fees, her rents, and other home uses. So the neighbors was making the rich woman richer and the poor woman poorer. Which was their responsibility as good neighbors to see how we can help our neighbor who is in need of what we have.
The poor woman stuffs started reducing because there was no enough money to buy more. And the neighbors will think that the poor woman doesn’t knows how to sell her market, but not knowing that it is their responsibility as good neighbors to see what to do.
So there was a day that the rich woman saw when one of her customer went to buy water. When the customer later came to buy things from the rich woman, the rich woman said to her customer, did I did anything wrong to you, why didn’t you bought the water from me. And this is the wrong way of approaching things.
As a good Christian neighbor we are supposed to see how our neighbor lives and see how to help, because this attracts God’s attention, to bless you abundantly. The fastest way to bring your prayer to reality is to bless someone who is in need of the little or much you have. It can be your neighbor, your friends, your family relatives, or someone you know with free-hearted. And this will attract God’s attention.
