Dating : Relationships are really that not important !

I know, I know …Shawn what the hell are you talking about? Everyone deserves to be with someone! Sure i would agree with you to a point but do people really need to force the idea of “ if you don’t have someone in your life it’s a loss “ idea down our throats to the point you choke on it?

Just because your in a relationship you wont always be happy. Now don’t get me wrong romance is great and every person deserves the right to feel “in love “ but it isn’t the only love that is out there that matters !

What about your family, your friends … just because your single doesn’t mean that no one loves you… it counts too don’t it? Relationships are not weaker because you don’t have someone in your life to enjoy a physical connection with !

The problem is we become so fixated on the idea of “ the one “ when we don’t see that it’s OK for the “ the one “ to be just us!

Loving ourselves, enjoying things that make us happy, spending time with friends and family and maybe instead of looking for someone to complete us we can take the steps to complete ourselves!
