Dating : Unsent Letter

My unsent letter to a friend. I wrote it early of 2020, We haven’t talked for almost a year now. The feeling of not talking to someone you’ve been close for more than 8 yrs was just something strange. We just stopped talking, I never got the chance to apologized for not telling him first. Yes, He is a He. I’ve come to realized that love is so broad it comes from many forms and expression. He’s been inlove with me for 8 years, I love him for the same span, but not the love He prayed for.

He want more, I want the same. It was very familiar, It was a routine.

Then I met someone it felt like i was in a new place, I was new to the feeling. I learned to risk.

The first time I risked is the first time I have to let you go.

My unsent letter, I wish one day I’ll find strength to send it. It could’ve not been the ending we always root for, or who knows what fate may bring, only God knows.

Everyday you are in prayers, I am proud of you. From a far you will always been appreciated and love.
