Thanks really for joining me on that, we’ll see – I’ve booked 8 – 8 ways to say that something doesn’t interest you, doesn’t affect you. This is something that is widely used in everyday language and we will see 8 ways of saying it. You don’t have to use all of these ways, but it’s important to understand them. So here we go. You will see that there are different types of languages (common language, supported, colloquial) and there is even a swear word at the end, so I would ask you, if you are with children, to plug the children’s ears. or plug your ears if you don’t like rudeness like I do. That’s for the end, I’ll let you know. How can we say that something does not interest us, that something is not important to us, that something does not affect us?
The first way to say it is to say “I don’t care”. This is everyday language, it is widely used. If you hear “I don’t care”, it means “I don’t care, it doesn’t interest me, it doesn’t affect me, it’s okay, I’m not interested”. When in the introduction Emma thinks she broke something, she tells Tom, Tom says, “I don’t care. And it means « it’s okay, I’m not interested in that, it’s not a problem, I’m not affected, I don’t care. »
Another synonymous way of saying “I don’t care, I’m not interested” is to say “I don’t care”. It’s a bit familiar to say “I don’t care”; it’s not rude, it’s a little familiar.
