I’ve tried this 4 times in the last 6 months and each time it’s the same. Create a new profile. Within the first 24 hours, you get a lot of views and emails, then it dries up. Nothing. No views, no emails, no « Meet Me » matches…you get sent down the bowels of POF, never to be seen again. Not all of your Sent emails are sent. You are now a ghost.

Delete your profile and 24 hours later, create a new one. Guess what? You’re popular and visible. Then 24 hours later, you become invisible again. Unless you pay…that’s the new game plan, that’s how it works. The creator of POF, Marcus, made something like $10 Million a year from advertising. The new owners now blackmail users into paying for the privilege, just like all the other sites they own.

It wont matter though. Thanks to COVID-19, we’ll all be dead by the end of the year anyway.
