POF : Am i right in thinking there is no option for girls to choose only to receive messages from upgraded users?
I try and message someone and it might say they only want messages from upgraded users.
My guess is this is rubbish and its just pof trying to get me to pay. Im sure iv tried messaging someone i knew already and it said that and i asked them and they had no idea.
Isnt it a little bit like conning the girl as shes not getting all her messages. (I get an attractive girl hardly needs more messages but you know what i mean)

No, it’s an option. Go to the website on a PC, click on your own profile, click on Mail Settings. It’s the bottom check box.
No we actually do have that option to only get messages from upgraded users. Your friend said she had no idea most likely because she did check her mail settings. If you go to edit profile under mail settings you can change your mail settings to distance as in only people up to 75 miles can message you, if you are a girl set it so only guys can message you, or that only girls can message you if you are a guy. It also asks you if you only want to recieve messages from upgraded users and only get first messages from people who have a profile picture
I thought it was a scam first time I saw it too.
I think ladies must do it to avoid being totally bombarded by messages. I guess I can’t blame them, but there is no way I’m upgrading. I don’t care how hot she is, I’m not paying for POF. lol.
