POF : Dead messaging???
I really am uncertain as to why conversations just die on POF. I’m a nice looking guy, came from a strong customer service background of many many years so finding something to discuss or conversation starters is very easy for me. I fell on some hard times physically. I was placed on temporary disability while I recover from an accident. I put that at the top of my profile so there are no surprises. My brain just got scrambled a little and I’m in therapy to walk again. Income is not an issue, no bad habits, etc etc. I even make sure that when someone » wants to meet » I look and see if that person has actually viewed me. If they have then I send them a message. Seems that after one or two messages it goes cold. This is completely unusual. I even tried sending messages to all the people that viewed me and wanted to meet. I’ll look at there profile and cherry pick an opener or conversations based on there likes….either no response or one and done…I’ll get a very positive response….then ghosts. I try to get em on snap as fast as possible if you’re guy messaging a girl understand they get their accounts flooded so getting their snap or Instagram as fast as possible is essential as well once you get snap you can exchange selfies etc
I’d say POF is dead in general. The bots have won, let them rule over the ashes.
You’re doing the right thing for first contact, OP. The one suggestion I have, which you may be doing, is follow up once in a while with the women you’re interested in. Females get inundated with messages and it’s easy for a conversation to come to a natural close and get pushed to the bottom of the list. If you follow up you rise back to the top. Best of luck!
