It will have this yellow star and say upgraded member down at the bottom of your profile.
Also the thumbnail pic will have the same star on it
I should’ve done a screen shot but I ran into a profile that said something a long the lines of « I will not respond to upgraded users. I find it weird that someone would waste money on a free dating site ».
I personally dont like the fact that you can’t hide that you’re an upgraded member. Some people dont like it when they know an upgraded member gets notified when their messages get read and profiles get looked at, even when you have the view profile option switched off.

I personally find that paid members have more restrictions on contacting them – so usually when I see it’s a paid member I expect messaging to be blocked because I flagrantly violate dating rules: A) Don’t be a non-drinker; B) Don’t be old; C) Don’t be broke
