If that’s all the effort you are willing to put into it then why do you expect them to put in the effort to answer you?
I never respond to « hi », « hello », « hey », or « how are you ». No one wants that kind of message, from what I’ve seen, men or women. If it has no substance, I don’t bother whatsoever. If I message first, I always put thought into it, just as I have with my profile. I won’t accept anything less than what I would put in. Write about what made you interested in messaging them in the first place. But, know better than to start with « nice boobs ».
I love books so I ask them to tell me their favorite book. The conversation flows from there but I still get guys « hi » « nice tits can I put them in my mouth as you read to me » and stuff like that. Instantly gets ignored because I read the profile before even opening the email
Honestly, the person either likes your pic or doesn’t. I gave up on writing actual messages a while back. Nothing like writing an actual message to that person and getting crickets back.
