POF : Has the site and app improved?
I quit using PoF about 2 year or more ago. Everytime I logged in I got spammed by like 20 bots, people stop randomly replying or out right blocking you so I moved onto Hinge, CmB and still used OkCupid. I was doing ok on OkCupid getting replies, but the problem is that 99.9% of the time the other person stops talking after a couple of messages so I deleted my profile on OkCupid. Has PoF improved at all in the last 2 years like have they added anything to stop bots and spammers and are more people replying on it? Do people still randomly block you? Hinge seems to be the only dating app that works for me. I’ve gotten matches and I haven’t run into a single bot since using it. CmB is okay, but its tougher to get matches, but just like Hinge no bots, but some people forget to reply and the timer runs out on the conversation. I’m thinking about signing back up on PoF.

I see a lot of people’s comments about online dating and in general they all seem to get rated as crap which I tend to agree to. But I honestly think different sights are different for different sites. Like I live in the southeast and my sister lives in the northern part of the country. POF for me in my town I was successful with dates and never got any bots but my sister seems to do better on Hinge because more people in her area are on that sight. I think you’d be better off finding out from people in your general area. But really they’re all crap and come and go with how often you’re successful with one or the other.
Same experience here when I took a break from POF and returned a year later…I couldn’t believe the amount of bot spam I was getting. It was crazy. The nuts are running the nut house over there.
One time, my account was deleted and when I Googled this, apparently, everyone ELSE was suffering the same experience of getting their accounts deleted in WAVES. Some thought it was an attempt to PURGE the bots…which, was throwing the baby out with the bath water.
It’s a madhouse now over there.
Those women over there that are real, are the same faces of the women I contacted, but had been ignored. They remain permanent online spinsters until they pass away.
Deleted my profile today. I thought I wasnt too bad looking until I got sick of looking at the ignored messages
Got back on yesterday after a 2 year break.
Nothing but bots and girls trying to get insta followers.
