POF : How do you know if you matched with someone?
So a lot of the times I get a notification about new matches for a specific day.. then I click on it and it lists a bunch of people but a lot of them I don’t ever recall swiping right nor would I swipe right because they don’t fit my preferences
I did swipe right on a girl and apparently she was in that list so does this mean we matched? I sent a message but she never responded

Dating apps seem to be nothing but bots
It will tell you if it’s a MUTUAL MATCH.
A lot of the « you’ve got new matches » type emails seem to be just trying to encourage you to engage more with the app.
If you log on to POF with your computer you can see a lot more things, including a few recent notifications of people who have liked you. Unless you’ve paid for a subscription you won’t actually be able to click on any of them though. Best you can do without a sub is to scan through the Online, Viewed Me and Will Respond lists and hope you find a match there.
