POF : Is the only way to get people to see your profile is to visit theirs first?

I’ve filled out everything I could. Have an actual profile write up, six different pictures up which I think are interesting.
I just feel like I’m not showing up on anyone’s match search or suggested matches or somethin’, but if I click on a profile (even if accidentally), I’ll generally get at view… at least half the time, anyway.

It can be. In my experience most women seem to just wait for guys to message them. Whereas if a guy waited for women to message him he’d be waiting a long time for not very much.

I don’t know. But everytime I see a guy who looks interesting I look in his profile and some of them must know because I get a message. I know for sure it doesn’t cost anything to find out who your mutual matches are, but if you want to see people who looked at your profile you have to pay. But it could also put those people in the list of profiles that come up. I haven’t really asked anyone if they pay. But I’m pretty sure most women don’t. Your best bet is to find something in a profile that’s interesting to you and comment on it to break the ice.
