POF : Not tall enough for this ride, I guess…
I keep getting viewed by women that are 5’8″ and taller, and when they learn that I’m not even close to 6’0″ they stop communication immediately. I can’t change my height, it has always been frustrating. (I’m 5’6″.) I am guessing they just didn’t read my entire bio.

Most don’t, they’re going off your picture first, (who can I find to make my friends jealous) women will never admit this out right, but looks are a factor, not as much as men are, seriously who wants to wake up next to ugly.
Don’t let height get to you, you will have to bring a lot to the table as far as a relationship so be ready. Look at the women you’re selecting, miss hot bikini by the pool will give you different results than miss librarian. Just because she’s hot/cute and thin doesn’t mean she won’t drain you in all sorts of ways, because they don’t have to try, they can get any man they want. Get one that wants to be with you just for you, she’s out there.
I dated professional women and height wasn’t their thing, work ethics and drive was. Going to business events, seminars, trade shows, volunteering benefits with them was what set me apart from the 100’s they were dealing with on POF.
I have a close friend of mine that I never could be in a relationship with, her brother and I look like twins. Anyway, her thing is 6 ft+ tall she is 5’4, certain salary range and respectful job position. I’ve known her since she was 30, she’s almost 50 and still single because she has her standards. She passes on men that are 5’8 or 5’10 so don’t sweat it karma will keep them single for a long time.
Dude, there is a reason they are on a dating site and still single.
There are a lot of women on POF who state in their profile that height of 6ft + matters. I like to send those profiles a message that simply says, « just as height matters to you, weight matters to me »!
Why would you even want to date someone taller than you? There are many women out there that are below 5’6″. It looks weird seeing a guy with a girl taller than him. Don’t be that weird looking couple.
