Full of scammers!!!!
Lmao…I’m 5 for 5.
5 guys I started texting one after the next they all texted for about 4-8 weeks, some I even called and spoke to, others saying they had a daughter, others in the US army, another was a Dr and then a nurse, another said if he didn’t get iTunes Gift Vouchers off me he might kill himself because he can’t handle rejection…..then they would make up some story and needed money….so I’d tell them I didn’t have any and they’d ghost me..lol.
Another I told I was bankrupt and he ran as fast as he could, and when I changed my status a wk later as having won the lotto, he was was back to texting me 2 seconds later…making up a sob excuse as to why he hadn’t texted me and telling me he loves me….lmao….
This dating site is sooo much BS it’s not funny. Though I’ve had some fun with the scammers…I’d suggest NO ONE USE THIS DATING SITE. Not safe, mostly not real and if your not clued on they’ll take you for a ride. I’ve given up on the dating online scene. Most people are fakes…especially on POF…

Don’t give up. I’m now dating somebody that I met on there and we’re serious. I went through a lot of bad to find him. But I see your frustration. For about 3 years I’d use it, take a break, try again. Start the cycle again.
I have two ways of weeding them out- 1) the obvious one, put it in your profile that you don’t give money. 2) when we start talking I always start a conversation asking them if they any funny stories to tell about dates they’ve on using the site. When I tell them about mine I tell them about people asking for money and I make fun of it. If they weren’t after money they’ll laugh with you. If they bail, bingo! Not only does this nail them no one’s wasting my time or getting my hopes up only to be disappointed.
