POF : Solutions for SMS Verification Error?
I’ve successfully created an account, but entering my phone number for SMS verification gives me « Invalid number. Try again. » This is on multiple browsers and the phone app. I’ve plugged in a few fake online numbers and they’ve returned the same errors.
Has anyone successfully gotten around the issue? Is the solution to make a friend give you their phone number for it? Is the customer service email ever helpful with it? Do those paid fake phone number services actually work?
In the past I did have an IP ban (deleted the account a few times, and only later learned that « you can’t remake a profile » means an IP ban rather than just having to rebuild it from scratch), but got around that after moving. The only thing which hasn’t changed since then is my phone number.
