POF : Stupid scammers got me paranoid bout every girl I talk to on here now lol (no I didn’t fall for it)

So I met a girl on POF and we were texting for like 2 or 3 days, everything seems normal. Then one days she texts me “???” And says she’s been waiting for me to text her since I told her to come over today (I totally didn’t say this and ask if she has me confused with someone else and she says no).

She asks if I still want her to come and I say yeah because why not lol. Next comes her asking me to Venmo/PayPal her gas money cuz she doesn’t have enough to get here. Obviously I realize it’s a scam immediately and say I only have cash just to see what she says.

This bitch the asks me “well could you go to a store nearby and buy a steam gift card.” Lmfao!

So now I’m talking to another girl and in the back of my head it’s just “how many days til she brings up the same shit”. I don’t think she’s doing the same thing but until we meet in person it’s gonna be all I can think of lol.
