POF : That annoying live video chat feature
All I see are twenty-somethings fixated on getting cartoon prize gifts for, well, I don’t know what for. They’re all trying too hard to be cool. I love the idea of video chatting, but how can I do that without having to deal with the teenage pop culture? Do women over 40 just know better and steer clear of it?
I thought it was just a plenty o’ fish social feature, but it’s rampant with superficial girls, faking warmth and interest in men for prizes.

The live video in the app is annoying. All it is , is women trying to make money off of guys. POF went downhill after adding this.
Yeah the live feed that’s on the front page has nothing to do with dating. It’s a real shit show of people competing for whatever point system they have.
Though, you can filter that stuff out and hone in on the locals in your area who have about 5 people max watching their channel. It should automatically filter within your age range as well. Doing that should make it easier to have a dialogue with the host of the live feed.
