POF : Why the question mark?
Why, for the love of god why?
Just recently I have seen a trend, mostly women, of putting question marks after statements. Not only is every statement they voice nowadays punctuated with an upward inflection, it’s now so prevalent that the written word is now suffering.
A few examples of this taken straight from these morons profiles..
« Hey there, I’m (name deleted to protect the illiterate). I am 27 ?? »
« People normally walk away when I mention it but I was on Naked Attraction ?? »
« I like my girls bbw ?? »
What the fuck is this? I know language changes and new words get added, normally because of the internet and some twat trying to make a word or a phrase become cool like « fierce » or « on point » when talking about those horrible slugs that women have above thier eyes nowadays.
I also know that even new accents happen, such as that one that everyone seems to wanna try and speak now but end up sounding like idiots because you can hear its forced. You know the one I mean, it all started with people from london trying to sound like american gangsta but it just ended up sounding like a speech impediment…init blud, lake (like) and all the music seems to be infested with it. Man the times I have heard a lush intelligent drum and bass tune, put together masterfully and then some twat who sounds like tiny temper starts shitting all over it with the bile that emanates from his mouth. Anyway I digress…
A question mark is punctuation, to end a question. These arent questions they are statements! Go back to school you illiterate twats.
It fucking drives me nuts!

Definitely emojis, I know because I put rolling eyes and it changed to question marks when I used to be on there, just saying.
Yeah I noticed it too.
I messaged a couple with statements about myself with question marks afterwards and got no reply lol.
Mostly fake accounts probably created overseas by non-English speakers. I see this too a lot on profiles. Also those fake profiles that message « Hi Babe » and that’s it.
Also what’s up with women using those damn instagram-type filters? Quit doing that, and post good pics of yourself! Also don’t include a previous boyfriend in your pics, or multiple people where no one can tell who you are. Most picture profiles on POF are truely terrible compared to Match and other sites.
