Tinder : Are there separate ELO scores for your profile for men and women?
So I created tinder three days ago and read up about the noob boost and ELO. So I knew to expect a fair number of likes and matches in the first few days that wouldn’t be representative of the overall tinder experience.
I’m average looking so had modest expectations, but to my surprise I have 99+ likes on my profile. Despite this, I’ve had only had 8 matches (I’m swiping right ~80% of the time).
Turns out, I accidentally checked myself as « straight » and « pansexual » when I created my account – hence most of my likes must be from men (I’m straight). I suspect far fewer women have liked my profile if my matches is anything to go by.
I’m curious to know whether all the likes from men will positively/ negatively affect my profile visibility to women, or are there separate ELO scores for different sexes?
