6. I know this is fake, but people need to stop getting pets if you can’t afford to fucking feed them. Yeah sure maybe you’re going through a hard time and want the emotional support, but it’s not like you can explain to a cat why they don’t get regular meals, vet checkups, or toys. You’re intentionally giving them a bad life because you want to be needed.

   On a side note, if you can’t afford food *one time* due to extenuating circumstances, food pantries or animal shelters will give you some for free if you ask.
