Tinder : Why is there no weight filter?!

If some girl can say “EWWWW! He’s 5’6” and not 6 feet!” Then I should be able to say that they’re too heave for me! Or not voluptuous enough! I myself don’t really care about weight, but if that’s not a double standard, I don’t know what is!!!

  1. Because there’s no height filter?? The « height filter » is just…women making up their own minds. It’s a dumb preference, as is weight, but everyone’s going to have their preferences.

  2. Absolutely everyone has preferences. You’re perfectly free to date only fit girls. However it’s way easier to tell if people are fit from photos than it is to tell height.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with getting preferences out of the way first. It would suck way more to form a connection and then go on a date only to realize you’re not attracted to the guy.

  3. stop being so fucking bitter. for every girl that has preferences about the height of the guys she dates, there’s a girl that doesnt care about height. just like its 100% fine for a guy to prefer fit and slim girls. there are guys too that like bbws. some girls really care about hiw much money a guy has, some couldnt give less of a fuck. just date the people you find attractive that like you. there’s 8 billion people on earth, if 1% of those people find you attractive thats still 80,000,000 people.

  4. You can say anything to a man and he has to suck it up. But if you dare to offend a woman you are the worst being in the universe. That’s how it works.

  5. It’s the worst double standard, especially as you have far more control over your weight than your height. But how patriarchal of you. You misogynist! /s. For specificity… I don’t think there’s legitimately a height filter built in.

  6. wait is there a height filter? i thought peoole just sort of put it in their bio. so theoretically people could also put their weight in their bio?

  7. There’s no problem with women writing “I prefer guys over 6 ft”. There is a problem with then writing “No shorties”.

The issue isn’t stating the preference, it with being an asshole about it.
