Shock

Denial
The second step is denial. This is the time when you don’t want to believe it. This period is longer or shorter depending on the person. Someone who is in denial can continue to cover for the deceased, leave their belongings intact …
Anger
The third step is to be angry. Against oneself or against others. This anger can manifest itself through words, gestures or you immerse yourself in deep silence. The inability to go back is unbearable and incomprehensible. Feeling remorseful, you can be aggressive towards those around you. Blaming your loved ones.
The pain, the sadness
Anger gives way to sadness and a feeling of hopelessness. This pain is the fourth stage. You wonder what will become of you and the future seems blurry and dull. This stage can sometimes lead to depression.
Resignation

Acceptance
This stage is when you accept the loss. You are then able to focus on the good memories and see the future in a more optimistic way.
