POF : I can’t see someone in a search

POF : I can’t see someone in a search

..but my best friend can. Neither of us has had any contact with this person but she is able to see the profile, and I can’t? We were online at the same time sort of comparing notes and I had the same profiles above and under where this person was on her search but his didn’t exist on mine. Does this make sense? It’s not anyone we know or were interested in, it was just something that happened and we can’t figure out why
