POF : I don’t care about the right number, I care about the right people!

1. The OP is not complaining that the “right people” aren’t there, they’re complaining that the algorithm automatically *disables* some of their filters just to have unsuitable people to show them. I’m just like the OP and would rather just have no results and be done with that app for the time being.

   FYI, PoF used to not give that warning and I would be browsing through my search list and see a profile I liked, only to realize they lived in another state or had/wanted kids. Waste of time with my personal values and search terms.

2. This is new tho. It wasn’t doing this until they changed to their new format. I know bc I have a friend who got the new format and I didnt and I hope I never do. The new format sucks and only shows my friend lesbians despite the fact that he is a straight guy. I still see the lovely same list of guys I’ve been seeing. My girlfriend is also getting that message with the new format and can only see guys over 100 miles away.

3. So what do you want POF to do about the fact that there are no people in the system that meet your search criteria?

   POF is not a store that you can complain when they are out of a certain variety.
