h2>Dating : Get Creative With Your Compliments: Stop Saying “Hey Beautiful”

Ladies, we’ve all been there. You match with a super cute guy and his opening line is “Hey Beautiful” or some version of it. You’ve spent time filling out your bio, with so many conversation starters, and he didn’t even make it past the pictures. There’s a part of me that wonders if he even looked at my pictures or if he’s just swiping right on everyone and if he matches he has “Hey Beautiful” copied so he can quickly hit paste and get back to swiping.
For me calling a woman beautiful is more of an observation then a compliment. Personally I know I am beautiful in the body I was born in, we all are. It’s something we as people have very little control of. We can do our hair, make up, shave, and wear nice clothing — and I absolutely love compliments on specific things. Compliment a person’s hair or clothing instead of “Hey Beautiful”. It’s more personal and it shows that you are actually taking the time to look at their bio.
Other awesome things to compliment are someone’s intelligence, their achievements, all the places they’ve traveled, the fact that they moved across the country, the piece of art in the background of their photo, or even their awesome photography.
I guarantee if you start implementing this idea you will have more meaningful conversation and you will stop coming across like a player. I know personally I automatically unmatch the “Hey Beautiful” guys, but when they talk about my profile or my pictures I genuinely want to respond.
