So there was a generous email that was sent out prior to this event and I am backtracking because I want to give everyone some helpful tips to make these speed dating events work in your favor. 1. You Need a Drink. The drink part of it all is so important! If you want to look dapper AF, grab yourself a nice glass and pour any brown liquid of your choice. If you want to be classy AF, grab a nice glass of wine, pour contents into the glass and remove the bottle. For those of you in the IDGAF mode… just drink straight out of the bottle. This was done and many of us noticed. Like attracts like, right? 2. If the moderator asks a group question — be creative! For instance, where have you always wanted to travel… please do not pick a place in the US (especially if you live there), go international! I had a ton of responses to my desire to travel to Greece and the Maldives. Also, if someone says they want to go to Italy or France, speak up! They want to hear what you have to say… and you stand out. 3. Everyone LOVES FOOD. If they don’t, they are not right for you… Move on. Enough said on that. 4. Check your shit.- the internet is working/stable, your camera is on and at a good angle, and please ensure your pets are in the frame. We all love animals… well we should, and we want to see them.
