Inactive and fake profiles. People who are impossibly picky bc they’re looking for someone perfect, which doesn’t exist. Etc.
Another reason is there could be anything in your profile or pictures that turns them off. The bathroom ab selfie, the messy apartment in the background, the negative headline, and so on. Imo you’re better off if you can go live your life, and meet women in those communities. That way you’ll have substantial things in common.
But more importantly, in case you don’t make a love connection, at least you’re having an awesome life.
Most women are getting a bazillion messages a day so will be very picky about who they reply to. Also, POF is notorious for leaving inactive profiles up. Try aiming several points below your level and see if that helps.
Maybe your username is a turn-off. If you use the same one on your dating profile as on here, I wouldn’t reply. First of all, I’m not « country, » so I would not see us as a match. Secondly, by using « sexy » in your username, you come across as just playing around and/or a little narcissistic. Do you take the time to read the women’s profiles that you are messaging? Are you sure you think you would be a good match with them, or are you choosing women based only on their looks? One important determinant of compatibility is a matching level of educational attainment. You may want to try to limit your messaging to women that have the same education as you for awhile to see if it makes a difference. I agree with another poster that there are a lot of fake profiles on POF. Are your pics recent and tasteful? Do you have at least one full-body pic? Are you wearing sunglasses in every pic? Are any of your pics sideways? Is your profile completely filled out and lets people know a little about you – not things like walks on the beach, cuddling, laughing, and other trite generic things.
The one that confuses me is when someone likes you, you like them back then message them and…..nothing. OLD is weird…..

What do you open with? Remember women on OLD get told they are beautiful or hot all the time. So you need to be something they are not used to. Find something that stands out about one of their pics. If there is an opportunity to roast them a bit, use it. I.e. they left their bio blank or didn’t put much in at all. Tease them and don’t be afraid of being rejected. You have to let them know that you aren’t worshipping them or putting them on a pedastool. It shows confidence and that she is not your only option. You will get more replies and results. Most women do not want a simp they want to feel like the guy they are talking to is a bit of a challenge not that they could have him at the click of a finger.
Same here 🙁 I don’t think they’re inactive cause I will often see they viewed my profile after they get my message, I guess they just don’t think I’m attractive enough.

I’ll tell you why they’re more interested in going live in the live section.
