Does he like you or is he just being nice? It’s tough to tell, especially when you’re solely judging by his words. He could’ve been like that to everyone but who knows? There could potentially be something more. If he’s not ready to confess, look at his body language. Body languages never lie, they’re hard to control even if we try to.

Interested: Just like how you lick your lips when craving for a hamburger, the same mechanism happens to a man who’s attracted to you. Their mouth naturally produces extra saliva, prompting them to lick their lips multiple times.

Not Interested: However, do take note that lip-licking could also be a sign of chapped lips, or something even worse — them lying. So, check for other signs. If he’s constantly applying chapstick while you talk, chances are he’s just a nice guy.

Interested: Aside from staring straight into his soul, pay attention to his eyebrows. Do you find them darting up and down while his forehead condenses? Men, especially, do this subconsciously when they are interested. It’s also their way of trying to be more animated — an effort to show that they find the conversation engaging.

Not Interested: Someone who’s not interested in your conversation will barely show any facial expressions. In one word: Deadpan.

Interested: If you see him suddenly standing straight, puffing up his chest the moment you walk into the room — congrats, you’re halfway there. He wants to look manly and attract your attention.

Not interested: A person who has no desire of you wouldn’t care about his posture, his image nor what your perception of him is like.

Interested: Going against general belief, a guy who is interested in you tends to sit beside, rather than opposite you. He wants to get as close as possible to increase the possibility of any physical touch. You’ll notice the many “accidental” elbow rubbing, leg touching or maybe something more initiative like putting his arms around your chair.

Not interested: Then again, it could just be his seating habit. But the good thing is he finds it comfortable being around you and that makes a step closer to stealing his heart.

Interested: Even if he acts all gentleman on your first date, pay attention to how he handles your belongings. A man who likes you will understand what’s important to you and take good care of it as they hate seeing you sad.

Not Interested: Reckless treatment of your things reflects the amount of respect he has for you. It also gives a better picture of what it’d be like if you lived together.

Interested: Feet can be very telling in social interactions as they play a big part in the fight-or-flight response. To test, try touching his arm when talking, and see where his feet points towards. When you’re interested in something, your feet tend to point at the object of interest.

Not Interested: Whereas if it’s the other way round, it might be a sign of him feeling uncomfortable and his subconscious mind is telling him to run.
