Dating : A Beginning

As he approached the girl of his dreams sitting on the edge of the shore, he paused for a moment and took a deep breath.

He had been dreaming of this moment for a long time.
Ever since he saw the sparkle in her eyes, the first time they met.
Her soft smile and sweet voice.
He looked at the bouquet of purple tulips in his hand.

« Her favorite » He thought to himself. His heart beating loudly. Tonight his dream would finally come true.

– « Is this seat taken? »
She glanced over her shoulder and smiled to see a familiar face.
– « These are for you »
He handed her the flowers looking deep into her shy eyes.
