Dating : Appreciation, is all we need during this pandemic

h2>Dating : Appreciation, is all we need during this pandemic

What is it that you took for granted before this whole damn pandemic blows up our world? Maybe these talks with a friend in a cafe or maybe a kiss from your loved ones? A hug? Anything, that trigger emotions inside you and you miss it so much.

Unfortunately, all this time we were taking for granted this hug, this kiss, these hangouts. Coronavirus has showed us what life would be if all these emotional actions weren’t allowed in this world. And fortunately, this has made me and many others to realize the damage beyond the deaths of the thousands all around the world which it is we lack of appreciation.

As a result of taking things for granted, we didn’t give them the appreciation they deserved and now these are what is missing from a human being. Do you know what a hug can do?

A hug is able to fix thousands of misunderstandings in just a few seconds. A hug is able to talk a 2000 words speech in just a few seconds. A hug is able to heal someone’s pain in less than an hour. A hug is able to show hundreds of emotions in less than a minute.

As you’ve seen a hug is powerful enough to make us miss it so much in a way we couldn’t even imagine. Why? Because a hug from your mum was for granted. You’ve maybe appreciated the moment when your mum was hugging you but the real deal is now that you can’t see your mum.

Now is the time that this hug starts to play a bigger role in your life. It starts to have something more to give than just love.

Beyond the hug, there’re other things that we have to appreciate during coronavirus. What is one other consequence of this pandemic? Time by time the food gets less and less. You who read the article, you have a home and a roof above your head. You take it for granted. The homeless 60-year-old man though, is laying in the ground asking for some pennies to get himself a pie to eat.

I’m not saying to make you feel guilty for living a life that every human deserves. But I’m trying to make you show some appreciation that you have food, water, home and your family around you. Some people may have everything but this is the only thing they miss. Some people may have nothing and this is another thing they miss.

If you haven’t seen this way of things until now is nothing to be ashamed of. I’m not in a better place than you. If it wasn’t for this pandemic I would never think how important are the things we take for granted. The hug we talked about, the necessary things that every human needs to live would never seem as fascinating as they seem right now.

Although I’m kind of pissed it took me so long to understand and recognize which things are really worth it in this world and which are not.

This describes exactly how I feel right now. There’s not a single moment that passes away that I can’t think of playing this 5v5 with my friends and do all these crazy stuff together.

There’s not a single moment that passes away that I don’t think about the family dinners with our family. We were playing table games, we were doing karaoke, we were telling jokes and we were hearing uncle Chris talking about every lawyer his hates and everything that happened the other day in the football match.

These are the moments that I reminisce every day and I cry about not having them.

We are humans. We’ve been through worst times than a pandemic. So let’s sit tight, help with every possible way we can to beat the Coronavirus and be patient to get in back to the things we took for granted.

What I’m asking from you though, is every time your mum gives you a hug to take a moment and remember this article and act like this is the last hug you’ll get form your mother. Every time you’ll gather up with your family for dinner take a moment and appreciate this beautiful moment.

Take care of yourself.

Until next time!
