Dating : Crumbling World

She was tired

Tired of hoping but it never comes true

Tired of the constant disappointment that always ends up in pain

Tired of the broken promises and broken heart.

Her soul was bleeding

Her heart was drowning in misery.

She felt that she doesn’t deserve any love

And couldn’t believe any could love her.

So when they ask If everything is alright

She always gives a fake smile, one that she wore for years and say

She is fine

Yet inside she was screaming and breaking.

She feared that they would call her weak

Fear they wouldn’t believe her

Fear they will pity and look down on her

Fear they wouldn’t even try and help.

And she kept it in

Even as the pit that she was in kept on sinking

Even as she began losing hope in the world that turned so grey

As to her, it was the safest call.

So she sat here

In this desolate land, holding herself

Hoping to fade away from this world

And no longer be a bother to anyone.

But deep down inside

Under all the never-ending pain and misery

And the belief that it was better to disappear

She didn’t want to.
