DISCUSSING TOPICS TO TALK ABOUT IN RELATIONSHIPS

Hey guys,

I know I’ve been gone for a while but, now I am back and I am better. Today, I want to talk about discussing topics to talk about in relationships. When we are in relationships or fresh in our relationships, we tend to lose things to talk about with our partner. But, did you know it’s tons of things to talk about within your relationship. I just recently found that out today.

So I want to give you guys a little advice on how to come up with topics in your relationship. Also, how to keep your relationship more interesting so it don’t fall apart so easily. For starters, always research topics to discuss in your relationship. When you research, you know better. I am a testimony to this. My grandma always tell me to watch the news to come up with new topics to talk about. Do I do it? No, but I am going to start doing it soon. Research is a good way to broaden your view on certain topics.

Secondly, pray and have faith. Your relationship won’t be screwed if you pray and have faith. If you lose topics to talk about within the relationship, pray about about and then talk to your partner about it. Or better yet, why don’t y’all pray together and that could be a conversation in itself. You both can talk about prayer. BOOM!!

Act yourself, don’t force anything. When you force conversations, it doesn’t really turn out how you really want them to be. When you force conversations, it makes everything awkward. Things take time. You have to be patient with your partner. And some topics are even hard to discuss within the relationship. I can relate because some things are hard for me to discuss in relationships. I don’t even want to talk about it at that point.

Don’t bring up old relationships because that can annoy your partner. Bringing up old relationships as a topic is a red flag in itself . It could mean your not over your ex or your still in love with them. It can run your new partner away when you bring those old relationships up.

If you run out of topics to discuss, ask about their day. Sometimes people love to hear that you care how their day went. It helps people night go smoother. You never know how their day went. It could of been a rough day and you just don’t know it until you ask.

Last but not least, when you are coming up with these topics, make eye contact. People love when you make eye contact with them. It let’s them know that you are paying attention to them. It lets the know that you are actually listening to them.
