Children often ask,

“Why must we learn about history? — It all happened so long ago; it doesn’t matter. I don’t care about any of this!”

A common answer thrown their way is usually,

“To learn from the past and to make sure we don’t make the same mistakes we made before.”

Most children will fail to see any validity in such a statement, however, as you grow older you begin to realise the importance of this concept of learning from the past. If no conclusions are drawn from the past, history will simply repeat itself — that is a given.

The focus of this article will specifically be on the blind obedience to the state of the masses during troubling times in human history and what conclusions can be drawn from those actions of those that came before us.

One image that comes to my mind is that of Nazi Germany under Adolf Hitler’s rule.

A question one of my history teachers once asked our class was,

“Do you truly believe that if you were born in Nazi Germany to Nazi parents when
Hitler was in power, you, too, wouldn’t be a Nazi? If the first answer that pops into your head is ‘No!’, consider the fact that you only say this now, 80 years later, aware of the mass brainwashing that was taking place at the time, and consider how easily a repeated lie becomes a ‘truth’ in a world built on propaganda…”

Of course, what he was saying was true. To a child born into a Nazi family, being a Nazi would be nothing short of ‘normal’ — his/her normal. But what is normal? It is simply that which you normally (most frequently) experience.

Looking back at how genius Hitler’s agenda was, and how cunning his techniques were to entrap millions in a mindset by using propaganda methods like no other, it is truly no surprise to see how many people fell for it.

Here are two most common traits celebrated by Germans under Hitler’s rule in Nazi Germany:

The Nazi Salute — ‘Heil Hitler!’ — was a gesture used as a greeting in Nazi Germany. By making this gesture with one’s hand, a person was showing his respect and obedience to the state and to Hitler himself, who was a glorified leader of many.

The Hitler Youth was a youth organisation for the Nazi party in Nazi Germany. It was Hitler’s method of brainwashing a new generation of Germans and turning them into his Nazi army.

Hitler once said,

“Let me control the textbooks and I will control the state.”

A cunning statement, yet very dangerous if one truly understands the implications of its success.

To guarantee the progression of his Nazi ideology, Hitler had to make sure to get the youth on his side, as by default, they were the ones who would soon become adults — he got them while they are young.

This is where the Nazi Party’s alarming expertise of propaganda came into play. They managed to undermine the minds of the youth and get them to subject, proudly, to their mind-control. A whole generation of kids was turned into brainwashed, blindly-obedient worshipers of Hitler.

If the study of history truly is about learning from the mistakes of the past, my question is what conclusions can be drawn from the obedience of Nazis in Nazi Germany, who were ignorant to the brainwashing and propaganda they were being exposed to and were a part of?

My conclusion would be simple:

It is vital to always question everything around us and that which we experience, including our very own beliefs. No matter how unbiased the information we base our lives around we think is, and no matter how much support, or lack of, we may get, we never truly know the full picture.

Never stop seeking answers, and know that once you come to the conclusion that you have made it and have reached the answer, you are far, far away from it.

This brings me to the present year, 2020.

Given the longevity of the world’s response to Covid-19 and all that came with, I will assume everyone’s familiarity with things like lockdowns, mandatory face-coverings and the upcoming vaccines, along with many other things.

I ask you, the reader, to suspend any belief you may have, however factual or theoretical, about the state of the world in 2020, and to consider the following:

Propaganda techniques, similar to those of Nazi Germany, are being used on a global scale by governments and certain organisations to push an agenda of centralisation of power onto the whole human race. Covid-19 is a trigger — an excuse if you will — for this plan to be rolled out in the name of; a plan which has been in the makings for decades, if not centuries.

To elaborate, I propose the idea that we as humanity in its entirety are living in something close to Nazi Germany, with the world leaders of current events — WHO (World Health Organisation), WEF (World Economic Forum), IMF (International Monetary Fund), the EU (European Union), along with governments and many others — being the Nazi Party of today.

In such circumstances, one can look at the information we are bombarded with daily on TV and social media (Mainstream Media), the narratives we are told about certain events, the on-going purge of the internet (mass-censorship), and the overall attitude and behaviour of people these days and see the comparisons between Nazi Germany and virtually the whole world in 2020.

“Wearing a mask tells the person you pass on the street, share an aisle with in the supermarket, or march along side at a peaceful protest, that you respect them as a fellow human.”~ Dr. Mark Smolinski, an infectious disease physician and president of Ending Pandemics

Similar to the Nazi salute being a greeting between people in Nazi Germany, through which they showed the respect they had for the Nazi Party, the wearing of face-coverings could be looked at as a sign of obedience to the ‘experts’ — the dictators of today’s world.

The only difference here is that many people do not even know who these ‘experts’ are, or what the words of the ‘experts’ even mean. Sugar-coated with a myriad of fancy catch-phrases and buzz-words, the ‘science’ that is claimed to be driving the mandating of face-covering worldwide is not-clear and almost always filled with eyebrow-raising, unsupported claims.

The trick here is simple:

  1. Claim that something is true by giving the public the least amount of proof so that they will buy into it.
  2. Spread the news that a new ‘scientific discovery’ has been made, without actually sourcing the real science, or if necessary, by giving it little to no emphasis.
  3. Capitalise on the fact that the majority of the public does not understand what is presented by the real science (mainly because of the dumbed down education system) and turn the public into headline-reading, propaganda-spreading self-proclaimed ‘experts’ on the issue you manufactured.
  4. Sit back and watch as you have just manifested the age-old idea of repeating a lie often enough until it becomes the truth.

The innocence of these people cannot be disputed, as that of the people living in Nazi Germany, but as I stated in my conclusion, ‘No matter how unbiased the information we base our lives around we think is, and no matter how much support, or lack of, we may get, we never truly know the full picture.’

If we can now all in large agree that Nazi Germans were subjected to mass brainwashing and propaganda, then a couple of simple questions must be asked:

When did the propaganda end?

Are there people/governments who use the same techniques of propaganda today but managed to tweak their methods to keep their agendas secret?

If they did it before, why wouldn’t they do it now?

Just like the target of Hitler’s Youth was, as the name states, the youth, one of the main targets of the worldwide campaigns to unite the post-Covid world is the youth.

No matter what one’s beliefs are, I think we can all agree that the impact the global response to the announcement of the Covid-19 pandemic was, is, and will be, far, far greater than that of Covid-19 itself.

The lockdowns alone have had negative impacts on millions if not billions of people’s lives, not to mention the economical impact they had on the whole world. Countless businesses had to close down, and many more are barely getting by. With hospital wards being closed and appointments postponed or canceled due to ‘overwhelming’ numbers of Covid patients, many have had vital treatments refused or haven’t been able to get check-ups done, which will cost them their lives. This amounts to a plethora of people still to this day waiting to get treatment and medical care, which is inevitably bound to clog up the hospitals and the whole medical system, even worse than before, for years to come.

All of this could be blamed on Covid-19 and the pandemic alone, but the truth of the matter is that this has been solely caused by the governments and the lot with their strict lockdowns and control over society, which drastically changed over the course of a few weeks for what seems like ever.

In the video above, one of the song lyrics is:

“Children are suffering; we’re in a mask to stay alive.”

This here is one of those eyebrow-raising claims that I spoke on earlier made.

To say that the children are suffering because of Covid-19 as a virus is ludicrous. The threat has been planted in their minds and has been made out to be the biggest danger they’re facing, which results in, as the girl said herself, them being ‘in a mask to stay alive.’ To call this Stockholm Syndrome would be an understatement.

How many children do you, the reader, know who have been directly impacted by Covid-19, not the response to it?

The method of mind control at play here plants a problem in the heads of the youth, makes them fearful, and then provides a solution to ease the fear or to solve the problem, of course, taking a chunk of the youth’s freedom away in the process.

Compare the children of today being brainwashed to wear face-coverings, not see their elderly grandparents, and obey the ever-changing regulations, to Hitler’s Youth and you will see a lot of similarities:

  1. Both showcase pride in their actions.
  2. Both judge others by their level of conformity to the ideology they follow.
  3. Both believe their actions are ‘for the greater good’.
  4. Both don’t really have a choice to say ‘no!’, as opposing the narrative will result in ridicule and/or legal consequences.

If we can now all in large agree that Hitler’s Youth was subjected to mass brainwashing and propaganda, then a couple of simple questions must be asked:

If the youth was such a key and easy population target then, why wouldn’t it be so today?

Who will be the adults in the years to come — the obedient face-covering wearing children, or the rebellious adults?

If they did it before, why wouldn’t they do it now?

The point of this article is to simply evoke questions in the mind of the reader. History as a whole is riddled with human mistakes and failure to see the manipulative nature of those in power. Given the large catalogue of historic events, recent and ancient, we have, I believe we are able to see past any attempts of brainwashing and mind-control, to the best of our ability, and seek true change.

Let me know your thoughts down below — I’d be glad to discuss anything.
