Dating : How Summer Lasts for 500 Days.

It was a summer fling.

You said. I take it as an opinion, instead of a fact, which is a thing that’s known or proved to be true. Or lets break it down by the definition itself, by the term. As a rom-com fan — bet you also are, a Junior High School chicks who spent their free time binge-watching Devils Wears Prada, Clueless, or… 500 Days of Summer. For those who has already watch it, as you adult-ing, Summer is not completely a jerk, life is.

Basically, the story tells — spoiler alert, an average guy named Tom, had the best 500 days in his life, be”friend” with Summer, which is completely much more than a friendship, they had each other; share the same taste of music, shows the favorite spot of the city, ….it was a romantic fairytale, for Tom. But, Summer had to go another way, Summer never believes of true love, as much as Tom does. And surprisingly, Summer got married, thanks to Tom — because she grew up by Tom’s words, of love. Ironic.

It was a sad story? Yes, it was. But, Tom has finally got a closure to find another path of his life, exact after 501 days, he found his Autumn.

For us — or let me revised, at least for me, it was a wonderful journey. We didn’t share the same taste of music, or even went to best spot in the city, its simply because you were there. You were there, knowing whats wrong with my voice lately, or remembering how sulky I am every time people picking on me, or…just there, listens to all my good, bad, so-so days.

Let me rephrase.

It was a summer fling.

Well, maybe it was just a fling. But, let this fling lasts as Summer does, 500 days, i guess, shall we? Or even more.
