Dating : I want a man, not a boy

I want a man who will fight for me no matter what. I want a man who is scared to lose me, so he does everything in his power to keep me by his side. Even when I tell him to stay away, he loves, supports, and fights for me from afar. I want a man who won’t use dating apps to cope with rejection. I want the man I love to realize that he would rather spend his life fighting to get me back than talking to other girls. I want a man who believes I am worth it.

I want the man I love to be able to read between the lines. I want him to be able to realize that although I don’t ask for extravagant gifts, I appreciate them. Although I don’t ask for flowers, the gesture is nice. When he hears that I want to do something, even if it was just in passing, he will remember and make it a date night/event in the near future.

The man I love will realize the importance of family. No matter the obstacles he faces, he will try his hardest to make them like him by putting aside his ego and pride.

The man I marry will make it clear that he wants to marry me. The man I end up with will have a plan for our future and isn’t afraid to tell anyone.
